The Kaya Cafe is dedicated to staying true to the roots of good food. Our company prides itself on crafting dishes with organic, seasonal ingredients that support local farmers, and bring people back to what it means to enjoy each others company around a table. Our meals feel primal, nourishing, familiar, and yet complexly indescribable all at the same time. We are completely gluten, soy, nitrite/nitrate, and seed-oil free.
SCRATCH KITCHEN
The Kaya Cafe is an allergy-conscious, world fusion, scratch kitchen. Nothing comes pre-made or frozen. Our menus are made with 100% certified Gluten Free ingredients - meaning those with celiac disease can feel free to safely indulge. All marinades, salad dressings, juices, tisanes, soups, and sauces are made in house. Guests often comment on how energized they feel after experiencing a meal with us.
ETHICAL PRACTICES
The Kaya Cafe supports local farms including but not limited to: Gracy’s Microgreens (Sprouts), Shirttail Creek (Poultry), The Texas Food Ranch, Bastrop Cattle Company, Emadi Acres Farm and Orchard, Boggy Creek Farm, & Flint Rock Hill Farm. We donate leftovers to local food banks and our compost gets donated locally as well. We use 100% compostable cutlery, plates, cups, bowls & containers that are supplied by local vendor TO-GO Co.
